Wenn Hochschulen der Gleichstellung der Geschlechter Vorrang einr\u00e4umen, halten sie nicht nur die Grundprinzipien der Gerechtigkeit und der Menschenrechte aufrecht, sondern nutzen auch das volle Potenzial ihrer vielf\u00e4ltigen Studierendenschaft und ihres Lehrk\u00f6rpers. Durch die Beseitigung von geschlechtsspezifischen Unterschieden bei der Einschreibung, der Zeit in der Hochschule, den F\u00fchrungsqualit\u00e4ten und dem Zugang zu Ressourcen k\u00f6nnen Hochschuleinrichtungen Innovation, Kreativit\u00e4t und Spitzenleistungen f\u00f6rdern. Dar\u00fcber hinaus tr\u00e4gt die F\u00f6rderung der Gleichstellung der Geschlechter in der Wissenschaft zu den umfassenderen gesellschaftlichen Zielen des Abbaus von Stereotypen, der F\u00f6rderung sozialer Gerechtigkeit und der Schaffung einer gerechteren Welt f\u00fcr k\u00fcnftige Generationen bei.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Laut dem Bericht &#8220;2021 She Figures&#8221; waren im Jahr 2018 nur ein Drittel der Forscher in der EU Frauen, und ihre Arbeitsbedingungen waren minderwertig.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Frauen sind in den Leitungsgremien der Universit\u00e4ten, in der Hochschulvertretung und auf verschiedenen Ebenen der universit\u00e4ren Entscheidungsfindung immer noch unterrepr\u00e4sentiert. Wissensgebiete und Forschungsbereiche, in denen mehrheitlich Frauen vertreten sind, werden traditionell nicht in gleichem Ma\u00dfe anerkannt wie andere, und Bereiche, die sich mit geschlechtsspezifischen Fragen befassen, bleiben g\u00e4nzlich au\u00dferhalb des Kreises der akademischen Anerkennung. Studierende werden eine Schl\u00fcsselrolle in dem Projekt spielen, das ihnen nicht nur helfen wird, die Gleichstellung der Geschlechter besser zu verstehen, sondern auch dazu beitragen wird, eine integrativere und vielf\u00e4ltigere akademische Gemeinschaft zu schaffen, die den Wandel von innen heraus f\u00f6rdert.
