{"id":685,"date":"2024-10-29T12:32:02","date_gmt":"2024-10-29T12:32:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pro-gendering.eu\/?p=685"},"modified":"2024-10-29T12:32:02","modified_gmt":"2024-10-29T12:32:02","slug":"online-international-workshop-how-can-higher-education-become-more-gender-equal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pro-gendering.eu\/?p=685","title":{"rendered":"Online International Workshop: How Can Higher Education Become More Gender Equal?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KMOP Education &amp; Innovation Hub, in cooperation with the University of Macerata, Italy, is organizing an Online International Workshop, titled <strong>\u201cHow Can Higher Education Become More Gender Equal?<\/strong>\u201d on Tuesday the 5th of November, 13:00-15:00 CET.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop aims to present and discuss the project PRO-GENDERINGQ PROmoting Gender mainstrEaming iN acaDemia through thE enhancement of gender equality and iNclusion in hiGher education and its substantial outputs related to Gender Equality in Academia.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-gendering.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/progendering_agenda_v4-2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>\ud83d\udc49 The agenda of the workshop<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the Handbook on Implementing Gender Equality Plans in Higher Education Institutions &amp; its supplementary comparative e-book and thereby explore and discuss with representatives of Academia within the EU:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Means to deconstruct key assumptions of gender neutrality and examine potential \u2018gender blindness\u2019 when developing policy and evaluating policy outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Ways to deal with issues of gender-based violence properly<\/li>\n<li>Examples of Community building initiatives on gender equality with the participation of all relevant stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Case studies of good implementation practices from partner and associated universities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You may access the online workshop <a href=\"https:\/\/us02web.zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/tZwoceGorjkjHtNPkmSlpGeZPe8hX88Yc2EC#\/registration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Registration is required.
