Universitá degli Studi di Macerata, Italy

Founded in 1290, UNIMC is one of the oldest universities in Europe, and it is the only university in Italy focusing exclusively on socio-economic sciences and humanities. Students are offered a broad range of courses, both in Italian and English. International exchange programs with 132 European Institutions have been established and several universities based in non-EU countries have signed bilateral agreements with Macerata for cooperation in teaching and research, as well as contracts for students’ exchange.
UNIMC mission is to contribute to the development of people and society through the added value that social and human sciences bring to the understanding of complex socioeconomic and political issues, within an interdisciplinary perspective.
UNIMC can be defined as an inclusive HEI, thanks to the coordinated and targeted actions implemented within the project “Inclusion 3.0”, aiming to support students with disabilities and specific learning disorders. Its actions mainly concern: strengthening of university services and policies on inclusion; and strengthening of processes related to teaching support, teaching mediation and assessment.

KMOP – Education and Innovation Hub, Greece

KMOP is one of oldest civil society organisations in Greece with 45 years of experience in direct provision of social services and implementation of social initiatives in supporting vulnerable individuals.
KMOP studies and analyses pressing societal challenges in order to understand society, proposes innovative interventions, educates, and develops the know-how to address social issues based on fairness, innovation, sustainability and balanced development. It actively supports individuals and communities through the direct provision of social services and educational opportunities, the implementation of innovative initiatives, research and impactful policy design.
The ultimate goal of KMOP to contribute to effective social-policy design and to lead impactful programmes that promote individual well-being, reduce inequalities, eliminate vulnerabilities, and foster inclusive and sustainable social growth.
Aiming to promote social progress through education, KMOP Education Hub has developed a range of educational programmes for individuals and businesses, helping them to navigate their social ecosystem towards achieving their goals and contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable future.

Spoleczna Akademia Nauk, Poland

Społeczna Akademia Nauk – (SAN-University of Social Sciences) is one of the leading private universities in Poland. In 2004, the Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Research Institute was established – an independent research unit, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among students and assuring professional know-how in that field. SAN has wide access to persons interested in establishing their own company due to entrepreneurial focus of the studies offered and also very close collaboration with numerous entrepreneurial organisations and networks. The University has won numerous awards for its contribution to the business industry.
As a business school, SAN pays a lot of attention to proper career guidance of students as well as increasing their potential in the market through developing entrepreneurial attitudes.
Within the University there is a Centre for Self-Development (vocational counselling aimed at marginalised groups of the society) and an Academic Career Office playing role of vocational and career guidance. SAN has also coordinated EU projects in the field of vocational guidance.

Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium

Since its creation in 2003, the interdisciplinary Research Group on Law, Science, Technology & Society (LSTS) has focused on the articulations of law, science, technology, ethics and society, taking technological developments and their consequences as a starting point. Although LSTS’s core expertise is legal, it also has a strong track record in legal theory, philosophy (of law, of sciences and of technology) and it notably engages in criminological (surveillance and security), science and society studies (STS).
LSTS has grown to become an internationally recognised centre of excellence on issues such as privacy, data protection law, and well beyond. It brings together an impressive group of reseachers and affiliated researchers, contributes to numerous research projects, and is robustly committed to education
VUB-LSTS is involved in several projects in which societal, gender and privacy aspects related to inter alia, healthcare, education and various areas of ICT research are tackled.

Mykolo Romerio Universitetas, Lithuania

Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) is the leading university in social sciences and interdisciplinary research in Lithuania.
